The Road to the Future

FP2 is continuously developing new methods for future pavement improvement. Join us as we implement new and progressive programs, including:

  • Identify and pursue industry/agency research needs
  • Coordinate with industry and agency partners - AASHTO and FHWA
  • Identify "Best Practices" for pavement preservation programming and techniques
  • Promote pavement preservation internationally
  • Develop activities for highway users and auto industry groups

Drive as far as you want. We'll take care of the road.

Preparing a car to run smoothly requires upkeep and attention. From scheduled tune-ups to oil changes, timely maintenance is everything. The same is true with a pavement. We are supporting America's highway infrastructure to give you a smooth, safe ride - every time.

Even the best surfaces are subject to wear and tear. We strive to define the right treatment for the right road at the right time. It's this timely and qualified pavement preservation that enriches travel and safeguards against costly reconstruction. Excellence in pavement management results in durability and dependability.

Count on America's roads to withstand nature's toughest elements. We take pride in our work. From the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Pacific Coast Highway, anticipate a safe, smooth ride.

Get Moving. See the difference.

The Foundation for Pavement Preservation (FP2), established in 1992, provides resources to advance knowledge for managing and preserving pavements. We strive to continuously improve the quality and understanding of new technologies through our advocacy of education and public-private partnering.
